Share your love of plants — Tell your story

In celebration of plants and their vital role in our wellbeing, weather and climate stabilisation, providing food and habitat, and in research and medicine— This May we #plantchallenge you to post a 45-60 second video / photo(s) telling your ‘Power of Plants’ stories!

#plantchallenge others to tell their plant story and stay tuned as we celebrate the #powerofplants through your shared stories in the lead up to this year National Botanic Gardens Day, 30 May.

#plantchallenge was introduced in 2020 in response to Covid19 with all events cancelled, and most gardens closed. It was held across the month of May. The response from botanic gardens staff, and the many lovers of plants across the two nations was amazing to see. Watch Videos

We look forward to seeing and hearing all your #plantchallenge responses in 2021! #plantchallenge begins 1 May and will end on Botanic Gardens Day 30 May with a live Botanic Gardens, Panel Discussion hosted by Costa Georgiadis.
