This webinar is sure to appeal to all plant- and food-lovers alike.
From growing edible plants in botanic gardens to designing urban food forests and edible nature strips, Jenni Bell and Karen Sutherland will educate and inspire you to explore your plant palate, with liberal helpings of Costa’s entertaining repartee.
Before studying horticulture and entering its wonderful world, Jenni spent 10 years working in the hospitality industry for some of Melbourne’s favourite restaurants. Being around big flavours and interesting produce has inspired her to grow and introduce others to interesting edibles.
“I wonder if that’s edible?” is Jenni’s main catch phrase.
Karen grew up in country Victoria and has been growing her own food since she could wield a shovel. Her business Edible Eden Design helps people grow their own food, through consulting, writing, and educating.
After 30 years of landscaping, she works collaboratively with schools and community groups to design bush food and food forest gardens.
Her own garden, Gunyah, in north suburban Melbourne, has over 200 edible and useful plants, 30 of which are Australian natives.
To join the webinar, head to Costa’s Facebook or YouTube page at 7pm AEST on 18 May.
