Please join Nancy Kartes, Stanley Smith Horticultural Trust Grants Director, to learn about Trust funding opportunities for programs and projects that advance ornamental horticulture through research or education.   You will learn how to apply for funding in the 2026 grant cycle; how to determine whether your project aligns with the Trust’s funding interests; and learn tips for creating a strong proposal.  Nancy will welcome questions and discussion at the end of her presentation.

Nancy spent her career in public gardens management.  Prior to becoming the Trust’s Grants Director in 2022, she was director of Bellevue Botanical Garden in Bellevue, Washington.  She began her career at National Tropical Botanical Garden in Hawaii straight out of university and never looked back!
