Slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature through a gentle, mindful walk in the Botanic Garden.
Slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature through a gentle, mindful walk in the Botanic Garden. This fully guided experience invites participants to engage the senses as we slowly explore the garden’s unique flora.
Explore simple breathing techniques, grounding practices, and ways of being fully present. Moments of stillness encourage reflection on gratitude and awe, fostering a deeper sense of calm and connection. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Forest Bathing (Shinrin-yoku), this walk emphasises the restorative power of “going slow.”
This special event is part of Botanic Gardens Week (18–24 May 2026), which celebrates the vital role botanic gardens and arboreta play in supporting health and wellbeing—recognising the now undeniable truth that nature is medicine.
