Established in 1878, the Cooktown Botanic Gardens stand as one of Queensland’s oldest regional botanical gardens. Spanning approximately 8 hectares together with the expansive 65-hectare Gallop Botanic Reserve, these gardens offer a rich tapestry of history, culture, and biodiversity.​
