BGANZ Board take this opportunity to thank Hayley in guiding the new Board through its initial period, and welcomes Marianne to the role.
Marianne has a 27-year career in government and consulting, with many years as a senior executive in the Federal Government and the private sector. She has advised ministers, the Cabinet and boards on numerous major policy reforms and transformation programs and has led their implementation. She has extensive experience in strategy development and execution, public and private sector governance, stakeholder engagement, building social license, and change management.
Marianne was awarded the Public Service Medal (PSM) in the 2013 Australia Day Honours List and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Upon accepting the position, Marianne said, “I am honoured to be taking over the Board Chair role from Hayley and continuing the important work of finalising our governance transition and focus on improving services to members. The Board’s first task is to recruit a new Executive Officer to replace Eamonn Flanagan after 11 years of dedicated service. I sincerely thank both Hayley and Eamonn for their contribution to our wonderful organisation.”
