BGCI’s Global Botanic Garden Fund – Call for Applications
Open from 30 June – 10 September 2021
We are pleased to announce BGCI’s Global Botanic Garden Fund is open for applications. The call for applications will be open from 30 June 2021 and will close at 17:00 GMT on 10 September 2021.
BGCI Global Botanic Garden Fund aims to drive plant conservation, sustainability efforts, and global partnerships with a focus on smaller botanic gardens and arboreta in developing countries and biodiversity hotspots. The Fund is open to Institutional Members of BGCI only. Non-members may apply, but a membership fee must be paid prior to the application deadline. Applications must always be submitted on behalf of an institution. More than one application may be submitted on behalf of an institution.
In 2020, BGCI received 151 applications from more than 50 countries and 60 institutions and we distributed 40 grants worth more than USD 82,000. We hope to provide more grants in 2021!
